Snowshoeing at the Swaner Preserve - The 1,200 acres of the Preserve are now accessible through guided snowshoe tours on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am or a self guided tour any day of the week. In addition, Swaner has 10 miles of connecting trails for hiking, or snowshoeing. Come to the Swaner EcoCenter to get your map and a lock combination for the self guided trail system or call to make your reservation for a guided tour at 435-649-1767 or e-mail us, swanerecocenter@usu.edu. Tours cost $10 for nonmembers and free to members! Snowshoes can be rented at the EcoCenter for $5 during a tour or $15 for all day. Swaner EcoCenter is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during the winter months. More information is available on our website www.swanerecocenter.org.
