Executivo com 30 anos de experiência nos setores financeiro, petróleo, bens de consumo, serviço de transporte aéreo e alimentício. Atuei por dez anos em TI antes de migrar para Gestão de Pessoas onde trabalhei por 20 anos. Sou especialista em gestão da mudança e desenvolvimento organizacional e de lideranças. Minha experiência inclui projetos de transformação de estratégia e cultura em multinacionais, tanto no Brasil, como na América Latina e nos EUA, no contexto de aquisições, fusões, spin-offs e startups. Fiz o bacharelado e o mestrado em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade de Columbia e doutorado em Engenharia de Produção pela COPPE/UFRJ. Possuo MBA em Finanças pelo IBMEC e MBA em Negócios de Petróleo e Gás pela UFRJ. Sou coach certificado pela Universidade de Columbia e autor de artigos científicos e do livro “Você Está Contratado!”. Formei-me pelo IBGC em 2014, tendo sido membro da sua Comissão de Pessoas durante o ano de 2023. Na área de governança fiz as formações do CELINT e da InovaTrends em 2023. Em 2024, conclui o SEER: programa avançado para CEO´s, Conselheiros e Presidentes da Saint Paul.

The need to keep up with the strong business growth and more complex activities demanded a complete reformulation of these supporting staff areas with new systems and people, the redesign of processes and training in new competences and tools.

    Our understanding of how human resources management practices influence firm performance is still limited despite the recent progresses that use a quantitative analysis approach to show a positive correlation between good people management and financial results. My research, “People Management and Competitivity in Brazil”, establishes empirical evidence that good people management practices, policies and tools carefully selected and implemented may positively contribute to the performance and profitability of organizations.

    The findings of the dissertation were published by EXAME and presented at the 10th World HR Congress in Rio de Janeiro in 2004.
